Dr Viswanathan S an accomplished professional in the field of optometry, brings over three decades of experience in renowned institutions in India and abroad. He completed his undergraduate studies at the Elite School of Optometry and later pursued a PhD from Anglia Ruskin University. Throughout his career, Dr. Viswanathan has held pivotal roles, including chief optometrist at the Myopia Clinic, Assistant Professor and leadership roles within the Optometry Department. Additionally, holds prestigious honorary fellowships, FAAO and FBDO, in recognition of his contributions. With numerous publications to his credit, Dr. Viswanathan continues to be a leading figure in myopia control and optometric research.
Shakthi Priya S is a graduate of The Sankara Nethralaya Academy with a keen interest in customised spectacle dispensing and clinic research. With one published research paper and several insightful blogs on eye health, she aspires to become a researcher and is actively pursuing opportunities to achieve her goal. Additionally, she holds an honorary fellowship, FBDO. A creative individual with a passion for teaching, Shakthi Priya has previously served in various capacities within Not-for- profit Organizations, including as a dispensing optician and program manager. She has also contributed to undergraduate education, mentoring students on their final-year projects.
